Details -
Brea, California, United States

Who should attend: Experienced Mechanical Engineers, Industrial Designers, Structural Engineers, and anyone closely tied to the design and manufacturing process interested in adopting generative design into their product development process. What you’ll get: This 1-day workshop will gather a small exclusive group of talented Engineers and Designers for a special hands-on look at Autodesk's generative design technology before it is made public. You will walk away with the ability to increase your innovation capacity by exploring solution domains beyond a single concept of traditional design tools. Plus, by participating in this workshop, you will have the unique opportunity to share your input on the technology on everything from its usability to its practical application. By the end of the session, attendees will: Understand what generative design is, how it is different from geometry creation tools, and how it is so much more than light weighting or topology optimization. Experience the role generative design plays in product development and real-world problem-solving. Understand the foundational concepts you need to succeed when defining, generating, and exploring solutions through multiple hands-on exercises. The class will take place at KETIV Technologies Inc. in Brea, CA on Thursday, August 16th from 10 AM to 4 PM and will include lunch and a closing networking/social hour.

San Francisco, California, United...

Join us at Autodesk's Pier 9 location in San Francisco, CA to explore what’s possible when you incorporate generative technologies into your design process. During this live presentation, we’ll discuss the main benefits of this innovative workflow, including: Exploring a wider range of design options - In the time you can create one idea, a computer can generate thousands, along with the data to prove which designs perform best. Making impossible designs possible. Generative design lets you create optimized complex shapes. Some of these forms are impossible to make with traditional manufacturing methods. Instead, they're built using new additive manufacturing methods. Optimizing for materials and manufacturing methods. Set goals and parameters, and the software will create high-performing design options based on those constraints. The software resolves conflicting design constraints so you can focus on innovating. Customer Case Studies. Hear how this technology is already finding success with customers like Innovation Forge and General Motors. The presentation will take place at Autodesk's Pier 9 location in San Francisco, CA on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 5 PM to 7 PM. A networking happy hour will follow the demonstration from 6 PM to 7 PM. THIS PRESENTATION WILL FILL UP QUICKLY, SO WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO REGISTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

By the end of the session, attendees will: Understand how to save cost on their next design by implementing generative design techniques and designing beyond just light weighting or topology optimization. Removing the barriers to innovation with generative design plays in product development and real-world problem-solving. Exceeding your production schedule deadlines by understanding the foundational concepts of defining, generating, and exploring solutions through multiple hands-on exercises. The class will take place at Hagerman & Company, Inc in San Jose, CA on Thursday, October 11th from 10 AM to 4 PM and will include lunch. THIS WORKSHOP WILL FILL UP QUICKLY, SO WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO REGISTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
